Wrestling Camp
Brief Description
- Each day of wrestling camp will begin with a 30 minute warm-up, stretch and drill
- Review of the previous day’s focus
- There will be two (2) 45 minute technique sessions followed by 15 minutes of live wrestling situations, followed by a fun competition to end the day.
- There will be a 15 minute break half way through the session and three water breaks. At this time, the instructor will work one-on-one with the wrestlers to help them enhance their individual skill levels and strengths.
WHAT TO BRING
For Wrestling Camp Only
- Plenty of Water and a snack – snacks may be purchased our snack bar and there are water fountains
- Wear your sneakers and carry your wrestling shoes – wrestlers should change into wrestling shoes when they are in the gym
- Wrestlers should wear shorts and T-shirt to wrestle at Camp – your team shirts add fun
Headgear
For Wrestling Camp plus Summer Camp

Wednesdays are Trip Days – Bring a lunch!
Drop-off Procedures
- Sign in your child at front desk
- Camp Staff will direct children to morning location
- Wrestlers will be called to wrestling room to start camp
Pick-up Procedures
- Sign your child out at front desk
- Camp Staff will call child to the front
- No parents are allowed passed front office
Snack Bar
- Once during wrestling break and during free play (for summer campers) children have the opportunity to purchase snacks and ice cream
- If you do not want your child to carry money, you may pay the camp staff at
the front office and they will put the designated amount on a snack card. Your child may then purchase snacks and the amount of the purchase will be deducted from their snack card. - You may also leave cash in an envelope with your child’s name on it at the front office. Children will then go to the office when they need money. Please tell the Camp Staff if your child has a spending limit.

Andy Iliff
- 2 Time NJ High School State Champion
- Selected to the Star Ledger All Century Team for the 1980’s
- Wrestled at the United States Military Academy (West Point)
- Wrestled in the Army in Europe (2x Freestyle Champion)
- Coached for 15 Years at the Elementary, High School and Adult Levels
- Nominated into the Sussex County Sports Hall of Fame
Guest Clinicians
- Eric Bollette: Head Coach of Newton High School, District and Region Coach of the Year,
Graduate of Kittatinny High School where he placed 7th in the state and was a graduate and
wrestler at Rutgers University - Teddie Sibblies: Assistant coach of Newton High School, graduate of Newton High School
where he placed 2nd in the state, wrestled at Lock Haven University.
